Ron and Annette have been serving under AFCM International since 1993. They currently serve as the directors of AFCM Latin America and AFCM Peru. AFCM stands for Association of Faith Churches and Ministers who minister in many nations with a great variety of gifts. These ministries include church planting, evangelism, apostolic ministries, Biblical Teaching for conferences, seminars, retreats and Bible Schools in prisons, churches, hospitals, orphanages and schools for children.
The Purpose of AFCM International is to equip and empower ministers to fulfill the God given call on their lives. We give licensing and ordination to Five Fold Ministers and membership to those who do and do not have credentials. Each member of AFCM enjoys the opportunity to build relationships with other ministers through regional meetings and annual conferences that we call Family Reunions.
As members of AFCM with a wide variety of ministries, we form an alliance together with one united vision for a greater impact on the nations. If you have a calling to the Ministry, we invite you to contact us to join AFCM International and work together to reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
AFCM International’s current president is it’s founder Dr. Julius Jim Kaseman. He graduated in 1975 from the charter class of RHEMA Bible Institute. In 1994, Jim obtained an honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from the Theological Bible School of California. Jim Kaseman Ministries (JKM) established 27 churches in the state of Minnesota, and founded the Association of Faith Churches and Ministers International (AFCM) in 1978.
Over the past 40 years, AFCM has developed an international movement of churches, pastors, ministers and missionaries dedicated to taking the Word of Faith to the nations in the Power of the Holy Spirit. Literally hundreds of churches and Bible Schools have been established, millions of books have been printed and distributed and tons of humanitarian aid given out through AFCM International to needy nations.
AFCM Peru
Ron and Annette’s lifetime of experiences in foreign missions and a heart for the nations to raise up and train national leaders serve them well as directors of AFCM Peru. Since 1982 they have served as missionaries in the Peruvian Amazon in different capacities. For their first five years on the mission field, they taught at TEC, a discipleship vocational school in Pucallpa, Peru. Later, they directed the Missions Bible Training School in Iquitos, Peru.
In 1992, they founded and pastored Ciudad de Dios (City of God) Church in Iquitos. Several years later they became directors of AFCM Peru. They have been licensed and ordained with AFCM International since 1993.
From 1993 to present, as AFCM Peru members and directors, Ron and Annette’s main focus is for church planting in remote villages that did not have access to the Gospel. They’ve traveled up the Amazon and its tributaries on the “Josiah” ministry vessel, evangelizing in more than 120 villages and planting close to 60 churches in the Amazon Basin of Peru. These churches continue to grow through the established regional leaders and pastors. They continue to hold bi-annual seminars that minister vision and encouragement to the regional leaders.
AFCM International Training Center
We are excited about our new Video Bible School and it’s potential to change the panorama of our churches, ministries and especially leadership. We hope this powerful tool, currently in Spanish, will help many churches and ministries grow in the Lord. The Thiesen’s are now planting ITC video Bible Schools in Costa Rica and in Cuzco, Peru, with Pastors that are members of AFCM.
What AFCM ITC Does:
1. Offers connection and companionship with other people of like minded faith.
2. Organized at the disposition of the church and ministry, as the pastor chooses to schedule classes.
3. Includes annual Ministerial Conferences organized in the church’s area for building them and their congregation up as ministers.
4. Offers correspondence from AFCM International ministers to encourage and help with monthly teachings.
5. Offers ministerial friendship with ministers that pastors can confide in to help in times of need for counsel and prayer.
